News from the Awakened Heart Sangha
First, a message from Lama
A visit to Kathmandu. Lama, along with Sangha companions, spent two weeks in Nepal for the celebrations for Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche's 90th birthday, along with others of Khenpo's students.
Getting to know the Sangha. We asked Alan Fealdman, who contributes so much to the Sangha, to tell us about his involvement.
Practising together reminds us of our connection with the whole Sangha past, present and future. It’s also a powerful vehicle for connecting to power and inspiration of the lineage. Do join us online, Mebar explains how and tells us more about communications from the Hermitage.

The Shrimalagana
Our Sangha is a Mandala, which is continually evolving around the core principle of Openness, Clarity and Sensitivity, with a mission to create a presence in the world of a genuine connection to Awakening for those who are seeking it.
This mandala is held by the commitment of the Mahayanagana members to that mission, who deepen their understanding of the Living the Awakened Heart training and values of the Sangha, and their connections to each other.
Within this circle is a small group, the Shrimalagana (SMG), who stand for these principles and guard the vision, values, and ethos of the Sangha. The SMG appoints the Dharma Director, and acts as a consultative group for them.
The trustees are drawn from the SMG and appoint the Operations Director who manages the team responsible for the Sangha’s activity.
So the Shrimalagana is the group responsible for supporting the Dharma Director and guarding the Sangha’s course.
The members of the Shrimalagana are:
Lama Shenpen, Lama Dashon, Lama Tara, Lama Agnes, Younten, Silvina, Yeshe, Five, Pati, Sherab, Ziji, Rinchen Khandro, Katie, Jonathan
