Dear friends,
We’re delighted to share that we have a special week planned at the Hermitage on the 24th April (details here). It will be an opportunity to come together in open-hearted service of the Hermitage, supporting the place, the people, and the life of practice that unfolds here.
The focus of the week will be on joining as a community, enjoying the rhythm of daily life at the Hermitage, and offering our service each day to help care for this sacred space. Our days will include a mix of outdoor and indoor activities, all centred on tending the land and buildings that support our shared spiritual home. There will be many ways to get involved, whatever your skills or experience, and plenty of opportunities to connect more deeply with the place through this caring work.
The week also offers a way to deepen your practice by joining in the daily pujas that hold the rhythm of the Awakened Heart Sangha, supporting a shared sense of presence and continuity.
You are very welcome to join us for all or part of the week, in whatever way feels right for you. If you’ve never visited before, this could be a gentle way to dip your toe in and get to know the Hermitage. And if you’re already familiar with the place, it’s a lovely opportunity to reconnect—with the land, the community, and the practice—in a meaningful and grounded way.
