From Self Deception to Confidence with Humour
Dear Friends,
We are delighted to invite you to the last Sunday Gathering of the year with Pati Bielak-Smith. Pati will be exploring the themes of Confidence and Indestructible Heart Essence and encouraging us to see just how light-hearted we can get about the most serious of subjects!
The less confidence we have in the natural spaciousness of our being, which is vaster than anything we might fear, the more we cling onto distorted and necessarily limited versions of who we are. We may even fall into spiritual materialism as a form of self-deception.
The antidote to the trap of spiritual materialism, this self-perpetuating, self-maintaining self-deception, is developing our sense of humour!
The day will also include time for contemplation, discussion and sharing.
