An Event for everyone! Celebrate the Tibetan New Year of Losar online or we'd love you to join us in person!
The Hermitage will be going into retreat in the evening so you are invited to come and stay on the Friday evening, or, if you're keen, come and stay on Thursday evening and help to give the Hermitage a good clean on the Friday!
In the days leading up to Losar people traditionally clean their homes, or gather together to clean the monasteries. This is an act of renewal, representing the removal of all negative influences. Everything is swept, shaken, polished, and purified.
Event details
A time to say goodbye to the old year and welcome in the new, Dharma style. Join us for a day of practice, offerings, pranidhanas and the joy of togetherness.
You're very welcome to join as much (or as little) as feels possible for you. Even if you can't make it to The Hermitage in person, we're very present with each other in heart, to join together online is a reminder of that.
