Registration is open until Monday 16 November, 12:30pm.
Engaging with Trusting the Heart of Buddhism can be a gateway into radically different modes of experiencing ourselves and our worlds. It's not intended to give us a lot more information to hang on to - it's a way to open us to the vast field of simple and profound not-knowing.
THB frequently challenges our assumptions – including our assumptions about Buddhism – and gives us different perspectives from which to explore our experience. So it can help us find and work skilfully with the habits of thinking and perception that obscure our indestructible heart essence.
It is, above all, an excellent grounding in the View from which much of Lama Shenpen’s teaching emanates.
In these weekly sessions, we’ll explore THB together – not as an intellectual exercise, but finding what resonates with us and deepens our practice. And, even more usefully, what troubles or puzzles us, and what that may tell us about ourselves.
This group is open to anyone who has completed Discovering the Heart of Buddhism, and is recommended as your next step. But of course, we welcome those who have explored THB before and want to come back again and again.
The group will run in three 12 week cycles on Thursday afternoons from 4pm to 5 15pm. The first cycle begins on November 19th. On Thursday 24th & 31st December the group will pause.
