Trusting the Heart of Buddhism - Part 1 (online study group)
Trusting the Heart of Buddhism Part 1 - Truth as the Nature of Reality
This is an online study group, following Lama Shenpen's book Trusting the Heart of Buddhism. This training is recommended as a next step for students completing Discovering the Heart of Buddhism but can be joined at any time once you have worked through DHB at least once.
The group runs over the course of a year, split into three parts each covered in a 12 week cycle.
This is the first cycle of 12 weeks, led by mentors Andrew Wilson and Dawa Carmel Dunmall. At the end of the 12 weeks, we will invite a guest teacher to answer our questions.
- Please also complete the additional form to receive the book if required or if you'd prefer a digital copy see the course page after registration.
- Any queries please contact [email protected]ku.gro.sha@troppus and remember to check your spam folder if you haven't received an email shortly before the start of the course.
About the training
In Trusting the Heart of Buddhism, in order to put our discoveries from direct experience into context, we are putting more emphasis on that vaster vision. What we are realising is the Truth at the heart of the Universe. It is alive from its own side and the Truth in us is actually an expression of a Truth that lies beyond us in a very special sense. In other words, the power of the Truth is something we can put our trust in as being able to help us from beyond ourselves.
This first 12 week cycle will explore the first two sections of the book:
- Truth is the nature of reality
- Truth is alive and not an abstraction
