LAH Daily Life Awareness - Bringing Meditation to Life through Body Awareness

Daily Life Awareness is one of the Living the Awakened Heart practice streams, working with awareness of body, speech and mind. It is ideal for those looking to bring formless meditation into daily life.

The practice stream runs over one year in 12 week cycles:

 - Body Awareness

 - Introduction to Awakening Dialogue

 - Working with Emotions

In Bringing Meditation to Life through Body Awareness with Younten we will work with the teachings and body awareness practices from Lama Shenpen and Lama Dashon, which shine a light on how we can truly connect to the qualities of Openness Clarity and Sensitivity and to the Awakened Heart. Each session will include a Body Awareness practice, a point from one of the teachings and reflection. We will endeavour to find a way of connecting with ourselves, each other and the materials that allows a sense of the wisdom within the group to emerge.

This is a Living the Awakened Heart practice stream, not a study or reading group. Sessions will be either 1 hour or sometimes 90 minutes. Please only register if you:

1 Have worked through the themes of Discovering the Heart of Buddhism at least once.

2 Are able to commit to a regular practice during each of the 12 week cycles. Your commitment will depend on your personal circumstances and exploring our commitment to practice will be an integral part of our reflective work as a group. We will be working to build the practices into our daily life.
