Training to deepen connection and commitment in the Awakened Heart Sangha
Many of us feel a deep sense of connection to sangha as an integral part of our practice and path. Lama Shenpen describes how our shared practice creates a Mandala of Sacred Space that helps us to align with the Mandala of Awakening.
'In the Awakened Heart Sangha we are always seeking ways of making that sense of sacredness and connection more accessible, alive and stable ... Together we create a space, a world, a mandala that protects our practice and gives it the opportunity to flourish and breathe.'
(Mandala of Sacred Space booklet)
In practising together, we find a support for our own practice and a way to support each other.
Mandala of Sacred Space Practice Stream
With this in mind, the theme of Mandala of Sacred Space, within the Living the Awakened Heart (LAH) practice streams, has a particular focus on sangha: our shared practices, the ethos and values that guide us as a community, and the ways in which we express our commitment to the vision of the Awakened Heart Sangha to draw the dharma into the world for the benefit of all beings.
Mandala of Sacred Space is the practice stream for you if:
- you feel drawn to the sangha as your spiritual home
- you wish to strengthen your connections within the sangha
- you want to support others in their practice through mentoring and community involvement
This practice stream provides the pathway into training as a mentor and supporting as an active member of the sangha's mandala of committed students, the Mahayanagana.
Join the Mandala of Sacred Space practice stream this spring
Katie and Norbu will be leading the stream in spring with Living the Awakened Heart in Practice starting on 5th March. The group will explore the daily morning puja practice, its intersections with the LAH themes, and the practice of resting in the Awakened Heart.
