As many of you know, Lama Shenpen will reach her 80th birthday on the 1st of March. To mark this significant milestone and express our gratitude for her presence as our teacher, we are planning a year of celebrations, including feasts and walks to her favourite places.
A Booklet of Gratitude
We invite you to contribute your birthday greetings, personal recollections, and expressions of gratitude for all that Lama gives us through her teachings and presence. We will gather these together into a booklet to present to Lama Shenpen on March 1st. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to reflect on the impact her guidance and the Dharma have had on our lives and those connected with us.
The Birthday Fund
We have also establishing a birthday fund for Lama Shenpen's birthday, she has expressed a wish for several items which we will purchase on behalf on the Sangha, so if you would like to make a contribution to the fund then please do, a wonderful way for us to come together collectively!
