Dear friends
Our next volunteer day is planned for Friday 25th April, we have plenty of ways in which you can contribute to the care of our special place. Depending upon the weather we could be outside planting the new garden around the Stupa or doing some indoor maintenance.
As part of our practice and service to the sacred space this way of connecting and caring for the Hermitage not only deepens our relationship to the centre of our mandala but is also a wonderful way to meet together through that shared sense of purpose. There will also be an opportunity at the end of the day for us to meditate together and close our day of practice and service.
A typcial timetable for the day would be as follows:
9am - 10am: Shayamuni Sadhana (optional)
10:30am - 12:30pm: Tending the space (including tea breaks)
1pm: Lunch provided
2pm - 3:30pm: Tending the space (including tea breaks)
4pm- 5pm: Meditation (optional)
You are welcome to come for all or part of the day, however you need to structure the day your presence and contribution will be gratefully received!
