An opportunity to spend 6 months living in the Dharma atmosphere of the Hermitage of the Awakened Heart
Hello Everyone,
The Hermitage has an opening for a Residential Volunteer coming up in April.
Have you ever thought about spending some months here, taking part in Hermitage life and supporting us in running retreats? This is a wonderful and rare opportunity to immerse yourself in your Dharma practice and to serve our community.
The role is typically for six months, although there may be some flexibility around this. The volunteer has their own single bedroom and vegetarian food is provided. Volunteers attend all retreats that they are eligible for, free of donation to the Hermitage.
A typical day would include making offerings to the main shrine and stupa, attending three meditation and prayer sessions and helping with some gardening, cleaning or cooking.
