Playing with Perception
Login to register for this event
Registration is open until Friday 28 August, 12:00pm.
Through formless meditation we can come to know our experience directly and clearly, and in the process we discover how much our perceptions and interpretations cloud our view of "the true state, as it is". We find we are already taking a view on our raw experience, constructing a vision of the world and ourselves. Maybe we can learn from looking at things in different ways, maybe we can surprise ourselves out of this habitual framing of experience, if only for an instant.
Five will offer some exercises - some of them from his book OPENING TO INSIGHT - to play with seeing our world afresh. Come and try this approach in a day of practice.
