Annual Sangha Celebration

This weekend event welcomes all members of the Awakened Heart Sangha to celebrate our community, its vibrant activity and far reaching aspiration to align with the Mandala of Awakening so we can all awaken together. Join us in appreciating the dedication of everyone who has completed the Discovering the Heart of Buddhism training in recent years as well as everyone who contributes to the life of the community. In the morning we will have a chance to get to know each other and hear what we have been up to in terms of our Daily Life Awareness practice within and beyond the Sangha. Followed by the teachings from Lama Shenpen on Daily Life practice and Death awareness as leading onto the Vaster Vision. In the afternoon, we will welcome you to explore community life within the Sangha, with introduction sessions to the circles of commitment, including Mahayanagana and Deepening DHB circles. And a chance to celebrate everyone who has completed "the first round" of the Discovering the Heart of Buddhism (DHB).

7am - 8am Morning Meditation session
9am - 10:30am Members Meeting Members
11am Teaching session: Daily Life Awareness and Death
3pm - 5:20pm Circles within circles (series of short sessions)
7pm - Celebrating DHB, foundation training for all members with songs and stories followed by Evening Meditation session.
