Mandala Principle: Daily Life Awareness teaching day

Online

An Event for current and past students of the Sangha.

We will be hosting a series of Sunday Gatherings this year to explore the intersections between our everyday lives and the DHB themes. Each session will include some time for practice, an exploration of a DHB exercise or reflection and time to discuss with fellow students how the DHB theme manifests in our lives. This is a wonderful opportunity to set ourselves up each week and to allow our collective reflections to guide our lives. This month, Mandala Principle.

“All our experiences, physical, psychological, social and spiritual are mandalas. Each moment of experience in our daily life and meditation is a mandala.” Lama Shenpen Hookham, Discovering the Heart of Buddhism – Course Companion

The above is a bold claim … and opens the door to  many questions. In our sessions on Sunday we’re going to explore some of those questions, particularly focusing on:

  • What are these things called mandalas and why do they matter?
  • How can I recognize and work with mandalas in my daily life?
  • What are the deeper implications of Mandala Principle – how deep does this rabbit hole go?

Looking forward to our shared mandala of discovery.

This month the day will be led by Sherab, we do hope you can join us!

Further information will be sent out nearer the time to those who've registered. Any queries email [email protected]ku.gro.sha@stneve we may not be able to help, but we'll always try!
