This year is very special as it is Rigdzin Shikpo’s 80th Birthday and we hope more of you will stay the Sunday night to celebrate. The subject of the weekend is ‘Mandala Principle – Working with ‘Other’.
As last year was such a success with very positive feedback, we are returning to The Beeches Hotel and Conference Centre in Birmingham.
For anyone that didn’t attend last year, The Beeches is in a lovely and relatively quiet part of Birmingham, known as the Quaker Village. The overall facilities are comfortable – with nice en-suite bedrooms. We have block-booked 40 bedrooms in a private wing for the Saturday night and 25 for the Friday night - these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The catering is being supplied by the venue and the room we will use as a Shrine room looks out onto a green lawn and gardens.
We are starting slightly earlier on the Saturday morning with registration from 10am, and a buffet lunch at 1pm. The AGM will be held Saturday night after supper and you all are invited.
Sunday will start at 9am and finish around 6pm, although expect some flexibility. There may also be a special performance in honor of Rigdzin Shikpo’s birthday.
