We are always looking for ways to support each other better in our Sangha, and now we have an exciting opportunity to get some expert training. Mary Waterford is a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Supervisor and coordinator of pastoral care in palliative care in Canberra, and she has offered to run a course at the Hermitage for members of all faith groups well as for Sangha members. The course will be useful for those interested in supporting people within the Sangha or in a professional setting, such as in hospitals and prisons. The final two days will be a working retreat for our Sangha only, where we will look at putting the learning into practice. You can find out more here http://pastoralcareact.org/cpe/default.html or email Shrimala Plumridge on [email protected]ku.gro.sha@alamirhS .
14th-18th May for the main course and then 19-20th May for RETREAT into Community for sangha members.
The cost for the main course is £225 full board, £125 if staying offsite.
To book, please pay online or by cheque to the office, and e-mail your details to [email protected]ku.gro.sha@stneve .
