The Venue St. Peter's Grange, Prinknash Abbey
St Peter's Grange is a 15th century house of prayer set in 500 acres of Cotswold parkland, the beautiful and peaceful grounds of the Benedictine monastery of Prinknash Abbey. The land at Prinknash was given to the Abbey in 1096, and the Chapel (which is in the Grange) was first dedicated in 1629 and restored in 1850. The monastic community outgrew its original buildings and is now situated half a mile away from the Grange across the valley. Today St Peter's Grange is used as the Abbey's Guest House, for groups or individuals seeking the peace and quiet of a monastic environment.
Prinknash Abbey is on the A46, equidistant from Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud, and is easily reached by rail or road. Full details will be sent to you once you book a place.
