Meditation for communication
Many of us associate meditation practice with a solitary journey and place it in the context of a path to individual liberation. However, we can discover on this very path that meditation can deepen connection with people around us, Buddhist or non-Buddhist alike. Going deeper than any belief system alone. This day will aim to show how the practice of meditation can support our connection with others, helping us to recognise, with clarity what we truly value in our relationships.
The day is led by Scott and Pati Bielak-Smith who are experienced teachers of the Awakened Heart Sangha.
This day is open to and designed for all, with or without previous meditation
Activities will include talks, sitting and walking meditation, group and pairs
discussion, periods of reflection
The charge for the day is £50 including vegetarian or vegan lunch and hot drinks.
